Data Deletion

ConnectPro respects your right to request the deletion of your personal data. This page explains what data we hold, how to request its deletion, and what to expect after a request is filed. ConnectPro is operated by Brandao Engenharia de Software Ltda, CNPJ 49.783.594/0001-43.
1. Who Can Request Deletion
- Account holders (tenant Admins or Members) can request deletion of their own user account and personal profile data.
- Tenant Admins can request deletion of an entire tenant workspace, including its messages, contacts, opt-in records, and uploaded content.
- End-recipients of WhatsApp messages sent through ConnectPro by one of our customers can request deletion of their contact record. Because the legal relationship is between the recipient and our customer, we will forward the request to the customer (the tenant) and assist as required by law.
2. What Data We Hold
- Account data: name, email, hashed password, role within tenant, profile photo, login metadata.
- Tenant content: contacts, message templates, message history, opt-in records, uploaded files.
- Billing records: subscription history, invoices, and payment metadata (we do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by Stripe).
- Operational logs: audit logs, security events, error logs, request metadata.
3. How to Request Deletion
Send an email from the address associated with your account to privacy@appconnectpro.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Include in the body:
- Your full name as it appears on the account.
- The email address used for the account.
- The tenant (workspace) name, if applicable.
- Whether you are requesting deletion of (a) only your user account, (b) the entire tenant, or (c) a specific contact record (for end-recipients).
- Any reference number provided by Meta or another platform that prompted your request.
Tenant Admins may also initiate self-service account closure from the Settings → Privacy & Data page in the ConnectPro application.
4. Response Time
We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, in accordance with LGPD (Brazil) and GDPR (European Economic Area). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request to prevent unauthorized deletions; verification is typically a confirmation reply from the registered email address.
5. What Gets Deleted, and What Is Retained
Upon completion of a deletion request, the following are permanently deleted from production systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days:
- User profile data, authentication credentials, and session metadata.
- For tenant deletion: messages, contacts, templates, uploaded content, and integration credentials (including encrypted WhatsApp Business API tokens).
The following are retained for limited, lawful purposes even after a deletion request:
- Billing and tax records for up to 5 years after the last invoice, as required by Brazilian tax law (and equivalent obligations in other jurisdictions).
- Anonymized opt-in evidence for WhatsApp marketing recipients, retained in a non-identifiable form, to defend the platform and our customers against consumer-protection complaints. The phone number is hashed and the original is deleted.
- Security and abuse logs where retention is required to investigate ongoing violations or to defend legal claims, until the relevant matter is resolved.
6. Meta App Review Acknowledgment
This page satisfies Meta's App Review requirement to publish a public-facing data deletion instructions URL. ConnectPro's App ID will be referenced here once the Meta application is approved.
